A tender retelling of the Christmas story, The Little Donkey follows one small donkey on a courageous journey to Bethlehem. Ridiculed by the other animals and beginning to lose heart, he is guided onward by a brilliant light—and discovers that even the humblest among us has a special place in the Christmas story.
Beautifully illustrated by Bernadette Watts, this gentle children’s book shares a timeless message of faith, courage, kindness, and God’s love for all. A lovely book to read together during the Christmas season and a meaningful addition to a family’s holiday collection.
