Handmade in Tanzania | 100% of Proceeds Support the O'Brien School for the Maasai
Beautifully handcrafted by Maasai women in Sanya Station, Tanzania, each Upendo bracelet is more than a piece of jewelry. It’s a celebration of traditional craftsmanship, meaningful work, and the power of giving back.
Upendo means “love” in Swahili, and every piece is made na upendo — with love.
Beadwork has been an important part of Maasai culture for generations. The Upendo Jewelry program, established through the O’Brien School for the Maasai, allows local women to use their traditional skills to earn an income, support their families, and build greater financial independence.
Each bracelet is individually handmade, with slight variations in beadwork and design that make every piece truly one of a kind.
